We hope you are not left speechless
The individual complex control processes of the applications with the mutual reactions of the parameters are on the whole irrelevant for the user. What is important is that the user has an interface to the system with which he can tell the system what he wants in a simple way.

SIPaDIM develops methods by which the tasks set by the user are translated into commands for the executive components.
The dialogue system SIPaDIM is realised as a multi-agent system in terms of its architecture: a speech detector, a dialogue manager, a component for user modelling and a text generation component are the main constituents. In this way the user comments are processed and forwarded to the connected application. The overall systems status is constantly monitored, the information is used in the course of the dialogue and to formulate messages to the user.


Unbelievably easy communication
Apart from the modular design, communication between the individual modules also plays an essential role. Knowledge of the overall status is spread over various components and is exchanged between these in the form of messages.

The modules communicate in a logical language that can describe all objects and processes in the domain and can be easily adapted to new functionalities.
 
  Application
Part of a vision
  Dialogue systems are developed in SIPaDIM that enable an intuitive operation of electronic systems in which several devices work together. To this end data on the current device status, the user and knowledge of the mode of operation of the devices has to be integrated in interaction between man and computer.
The action systems SIPBILD and SIKOWO record this data from the environment; through interaction with these, SIPaDIM can realise a new type of man-machine communication.
